Preparation guidelines Each bag yields around three cups. Stove: Pour approximately four cups of water into a medium pot and immerse one bag of rice. Bring water to a rolling boil. Cook uncovered for eight to ten minutes. Use three quarts of water for two to four rice bags.

Remove the bag from the water using a fork and drain. Cut the bag open and pour the rice into a serving dish. Fluff with a fork and season as required. Microwave: In a microwave-safe bowl with a 2-quart capacity, immerse 1 bag of rice in about 4 cups of water. Microwave for 10 minutes on high. We do not recommend cooking numerous bags in the microwave.

Microwave ovens differ. Times for cooking are approximations. Remove the bag from the water using a fork and drain. Cut the bag open and pour the rice into a serving dish. Fluff with a fork and season as required. Prepared Success Rice can sit for up to 30 minutes in hot water with the heat turned off.
